We’re looking for a people-person who loves this city, knows the local scene, and wants to make some real extra income on their own schedule. You’ll work directly with Columbus restaurants, entertainment venues, and local destinations — connecting them with a simple, proven concept that turns their unused gift certificates and experiences into new customers and real revenue.

You don’t need a marketing degree. You don’t need to work 40 hours a week. You need to love people, love Columbus, and love a good conversation.

What Your Days Actually Look Like:

You’re out in the city — visiting restaurants you probably already eat at, talking to owners and managers about something that genuinely works, building relationships with the people who make this town great. Most of your work happens on your terms, on your schedule, in places you actually want to be.

Promotions Assistant (Part-Time) | Cbus Media Group | Columbus, OH

You like being where the action is. You’re comfortable talking to anyone. You’d rather be out at an event than stuck behind a desk. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.

Cbus Media Group is home to Qfm96, Sunny 95, Mix 107.9, and more. We’re part of Columbus every day on the air, online, and out in the community. Our Promotions team is the reason listeners get to meet us face to face, and we need another enthusiastic pair of hands.

What you’ll do

• Help set up, run, and tear down station appearances, live broadcasts, and public events across Central Ohio.

• Capture photos and video at events for our station social channels.

• Greet listeners, hand out prizes, and represent our stations with energy.

• Connect with our advertising partners on-site and make sure their event goes well.

• Pitch in wherever the team needs you. Some days that’s a tent and a banner. Some days it’s something new.

Where you can grow

This job is part-time, but it doesn’t have to stay small. If you’re interested, you can learn studio work and how to run a live broadcast. You can also train on the advertising side of the business. Our company runs on a lot of different skills. Ambitious people find room here.

What you bring

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry event gear (up to 50 lbs).

• Comfort with a smartphone and social media.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in.

No media experience required. We’ll teach you.

Pay and schedule

• $14–$18 per hour.

• Weekly schedule is negotiable.
