The Columbus Radio Group is seeking a Full time Interactive Content Editor. We’re looking for an energetic professional to work in a highly fun but challenging and fast paced entertainment environment.
This individual would work closely with and under the direction of the Operations Manager/Content Manager and will maintain the individual brands of our radio stations both internally and externally. Primary duties will include managing the Interactive Team with adding and maintaining content on our 3 web sites and social media pages. This could vary from data entry to writing and sending weekly e-mail newsletters, helping with various research/brainstorming projects and listener database management.
Ideal candidates should have a blend of technical and interpersonal strengths including, a basic knowledge of web design, marketing and fairly strong graphic design skills. Radio experience is also useful.
Responsibilities
• Support requests from Operations, Marketing, and Sales managers
• Manage social media presence
• Make our online and interactive presence dynamic
• Research/brainstorming projects
• Listener database management
• Syndicate content (news articles, image galleries, viral videos, etc.) to stations sites
• Coaching content creation, blogging, etc.
Requirements
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Experience using social media
• Graphic design experience
Pluses
• Experience with PHP and JavaScript
• Broadcast experience
